Order your 2011-12 MLS yearbooks by February 29th! Each yearbook costs $16. You may return the yellow order form that you received via backpack mail or order and pay online using your PayPal account. ORDER NOW!
Kids Night Out Registration Open
You can now register and pay online with your PayPal account for the next two KNO events. Check out the KNO Registration page to register for KNO’s on Friday, February 10th and Friday, March 23rd. Don’t forget that the MLS PTO Silent Auction is also Friday evening, March 23rd - so that date will fill up quickly!
Register Now for Spring II Enrichment Zone Courses
Registration for Spring Session I EZ courses has closed; however, we still have a wide variety of courses available during our Spring II session. Check out the EZ Course Brochure and register soon. Registration for the Spring II session closes on Monday, March 5th.

MLS Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair “Luau” is coming March 6-8! If you are interested in volunteering to help, please contact Adonice D’Atre or Nancy Paulson. We can use volunteers to decorate before, during and after the event!
The Meriwether Lewis Annual Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled from Tuesday, March 6 to Thursday, March 8. As you will see in the detailed schedule below, students will first have an opportunity on Tuesday to preview books and create a “Wish List.” After reviewing this list with their parents(s), students may purchase books either on Wednesday or Thursday. One fun way to see and purchase books with your child is to join us for “Family Night” on Wednesday. During this evening event, students can wear pajamas, enjoy pizza in the cafeteria, and listen to special guest readers
We thank you in advance for participating in our annual Book Fair. Not only does the Book Fair connect students with books at affordable prices and make reading a positive experience, but it helps to raise money for the MLS Library! With the money we raise, we can purchase additional books and materials for all students to enjoy.
Tuesday, March 6 – PREVIEW DAY, (no book purchases on this day)
During school, students will view books and bring home a “Wish List.”
Review this “Wish List” with your child.
If you choose to purchase books, please send cash/check (made out to MLS) with your child on Wednesday or Thursday.
Wednesday, March 7 – BOOK FAIR & FAMILY NIGHT, 8am-8pm
Students come to the library with their classes during the school day to purchase books.
Parents may also purchase books with their children from 2:30 – 8:00 pm
FAMILY NIGHT FUN! 5:30 – 8:00 pm
Pizza for purchase in the cafeteria 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Story time with guest readers 7:00 – 7:30 pm
Thursday, March 8 – BOOK FAIR, 8am – 3pm
Students and parents can purchase books in the Library.
